Plainsboro grew up planned. Townhome communities like Ravens Crest and the neighborhoods around Princeton Meadows sit alongside single-family streets near Grovers Mill and Dey Road, and past them the township deliberately kept its farmland — some of it, like the old Walker-Gordon dairy ground, still open today. Excavation here splits the same way: tight-access work inside the planned communities, and more open work on the bigger lots at the farm edge.

What nearly every Plainsboro job shares is flat, wet ground. The township sits low along the Millstone River's tributaries, and a yard that looks fine in August can hold water from November through May. A lot of what we do here is drainage: french drains, regrading, and downspout runs that finally give the water somewhere to go instead of letting it sit against the foundation.
